About the Position

Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience License: Active RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Candidates must possess ACLS and BLS certifications. ICU experience is required. Description: The unit consists of 12 beds and has a total of 34 staff members. Staff includes a Director, Manager, Clinical Coordinator, RNs, and PCTs on the day shift. The night shift is comprised of RNs and PCTs. Patient ratios range from 1:1, 2:1, to 3:1. The ICU is equipped with CRRT, IABP, Impella, Arctic Sun, BIS, Vigilance, Cheetah, and Pyxis. The EMR system in use is Meditech. Candidates with surgical experience will be prioritized. Typical procedures performed include drains and central line placement. The ideal candidate should be team-focused. There are no specific certifications required for this role. The position requires working every other weekend, with no on-call duties.
