Desktop Support Technician

Location: Cleveland, OH (Onsite)
Pay: Based on Experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Type: Temp-to-Hire

Staffing Solutions Enterprises is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support for desktop computers, laptops, software applications, and related technology. This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional who enjoys troubleshooting, customer service, and working in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Provide desktop and help desk support to end users
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues
Set up and configure desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
Install and maintain software applications
Create and manage user accounts and access permissions
Document support requests and resolutions
Maintain hardware and software inventory records
Train users on company systems and technology
Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when needed
Participate in occasional after-hours/on-call support rotation

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required
Associate degree in IT or related field preferred
Experience supporting PC hardware, software, and operating systems
Strong Windows troubleshooting skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
Strong communication and organizational abilities
