This full-time, contract position is located in a vibrant community near Brainerd, where you'll have the chance to positively impact students requiring individualized attention. Your expertise will shape engaging lessons and offer targeted guidance from ASAP through November.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching License is required
• Experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, especially at Level III, is highly preferred
• Previous Middle School teaching background is a plus
• Proven ability to manage case loads and handle IEP development
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams
• Capable of quickly adapting to a long-term substitute role

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based instruction tailored for a new cohort of middle school students within an ASD Level III setting
• Oversee case management duties, including timely and accurate completion of IEPs
• Design and implement daily learning activities that align with student needs and educational goals
• Partner with building staff and related service providers to ensure a holistic support system for each student
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports emotional and academic growth
