Exciting full-time contract opportunities await for dedicated professionals aiming to make a real impact in educational settings near Brainerd, MN. Multiple openings are available for paraprofessionals and educational assistants across preschool, elementary, specialized, and high school programs. Whether supporting early learners at the preschool level, assisting students with behavioral needs, or helping young adults transition to independence, you’ll play a pivotal role in student success.

Openings span various sites:

• Preschool (Warrior Early Learning Center): 15–35 hours/week
• Elementary (Nisswa Elementary): 7–8 hours/day
• Specialized programs (Lincoln Education Center): 7.5–8 hours/day
• ATLAS (students ages 18–22): 3 positions with a transition-to-adulthood focus
• Behavior Management Specialist (RBT) in Level IV programs: 2 positions
• High School (Brainerd High School): 7.5 hours/day with ASD and general education support

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering direct IEP and classroom support
• Providing behavioral interventions and support
• Facilitating the use of communication devices
• Assisting with mobility, transfers, and personal care as required
• Supporting students with significant cognitive and/or behavioral challenges

Desired qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Fulfillment of MN Department of Education paraprofessional requirements, such as:
  • An Associate’s degree
  • 60 college credits
  • Passing an approved paraprofessional assessment
  • Or another approved competency pathway
• Genuine commitment to student development, patience, and adaptability
