Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,230–$2,391 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (Fri/Sat/Sun, 10:30 a.m.–11:00 p.m.) Start date: 08/28/2026 Facility/work setting: Critical Access Hospital, Emergency Department Responsibilities Provide total patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs Direct and guide patient teaching and activities of ancillary personnel while upholding professional nursing standards Monitor, reassess, and respond to ER emergencies; administer medications and treatments; document and communicate patient status Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, ensure patient safety, and maintain orderly patient flow Maintain accurate, complete electronic medical records; adhere to infection control, privacy, and safety policies Advocate for patients and families during acute events and support timely discharge planning and education Requirements Current Iowa RN license (active) BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Experience preferred, but not required; ER or travel nursing experience a plus Ability to meet pre-employment health, credentialing, and compliance requirements (immunizations, background checks, drug screen, licensure verification, and related items) prior to start Benefits and Support 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week Weekly pay range of $2,230 to $2,391 Assignment support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC throughout the contract Pre-employment credentialing and onboarding assistance to facilitate start PAY DISCLAIMER RULE: Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
