Specialized Support:?Work alongside a?highly skilled interventional endoscopy team?that handles?complex cases, so you can focus on?general GI consultations and inpatient procedures?while ensuring?seamless access to tertiary-level interventions. Tertiary Care & Program Development:?Play a role in?building a national model?for rural tertiary GI care, where complex procedures are?delivered locally, avoiding unnecessary patient transfers to urban centers. Academic & Research Opportunities:?Be a part of?expanding GI training and research?through the?University of Minnesota CentraCare St. Cloud Campus, with opportunities for?collaboration in postgraduate education and research?with the?University of Minnesota GI Division in Minneapolis. Position Highlights: Week On / Week Off Rotation (or two weeks on/two weeks off, if preferred) Enjoy a consistent schedule supporting work-life balance. Collaborative Team Environment: Work alongside a dedicated team of GI professionals committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. 1:5 average call schedule Night Coverage: During your on-weeks you will be responsible for night call. This is off-premise call, meaning you are not required to remain on-site. However, you may be called in to perform urgent/emergent procedures, scheduled in the OR, that cannot wait until the next day. (Average 15%) Weekend Coverage: Saturday: Urgent inpatient procedures requiring anesthesia are scheduled from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the Endoscopy unit. Sunday: Emergent procedures are scheduled in the operating room.
