Part-time Flexible Hours Accountant/Bookkeeper For Busy Auction House 

Niche industry, a unique blend of historical, internet and retail commerce. A

balance between slow workflow and intense, fast-paced periods.

Entry level position ideal for recent or about to graduate candidates with a Bachelors
degree in business administration, management, accounting or a related field. Career
advancement potential with an opportunity to transition to a full-time business
management role.

Initial Responsibilities
•About 30 hours per week to start, some flexibility in hours and days
•Manage day-to-day bookkeeping/accounting activities and reporting
•Use accounting software to generate spreadsheets and key financial reports
•Maintain accurate accounting records and documents
•Support payroll administration and related payroll functions as needed
•Address client and staff queries
•Assist with general administrative and clerical tasks connected to accounting
operations

Qualifications & Skills
•Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting practices
•Experience entering transactions into accounting software programs
•Familiarity with financial statement preparation and understanding of basic tax
liabilities
•Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage time constrictions
•Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and clients
•Analytical skills to identify errors or discrepancies
Demonstrates strong leadership, verbal communication, problem-solving, and conflict-
resolution abilities and ability to manage and oversee the company's daily activities,
manage internal workflows, and improve organizational efficiency.

 Process Improvement: Streamline workflows and eliminate operational bottlenecks.
 Financial Oversight: Manage and monitor financial reporting.
 Data Analysis: Review performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to
guide business strategy.
 Policy Implementation: Design and roll out internal company rules, guidelines, and
operating procedures.
