Managed Markets/Gross to Net Finance Director

Managed Markets/Gross to Net Finance Lead Join argenx as we transform immunology and deliver medicines to autoimmune patients. In this role you will focus on the financial aspects of the management, distribution, and reimbursement of the company’s healthcare products. Location: Boston, with office attendance 1–2 days per week and travel up to 25%. Roles and Responsibilities Develop the Managed Market Team’s vision and long‑term goals to drive highest quality of financial reporting. Own and collaborate cross‑functionally with commercial leaders, market access, FP&A, 3PL partners, and legal on new products, contract analysis, and government policies affecting revenue recognition. Lead Gross‑to‑Net forecasting and develop estimates for discounts, rebates, returns, allowances, and other adjustments that reduce gross revenue. Serve as a consultant for the month‑end revenue close process for US product sales—advise on GtN accruals and trends. Partner with Market Access to review all payor contracts and support Market Access operating expense management. Skills and Competencies Trusted business partner with technical expertise, communication skills, and sound judgement to provide executives with objective viewpoints on broader business issues. Leadership and management – demonstrated track record in a high‑performing finance team, leading by example, strong work ethic, collaborative, and thrives under pressure and tight deadlines. Behavior & culture – strong learning agility, excels in tackling complex strategic challenges, incorporates new ideas and technologies, and demonstrates emotional intelligence and self‑awareness. Education, Experience and Qualifications 12+ years of relevant finance and pricing experience. Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics. CPA preferred. Biopharma or healthcare industry experience required. Technical Accounting – Managed Market (Revenue Recognition) in biopharma required. Experience with Oracle Financial Software a plus. Compensation and Benefits For applicants in the United States: the annual base salary range for this position is $176,000.00 – $242,000.00 USD. The range reflects a good‑faith estimate at the time of posting and actual pay may differ based on experience, skills, competencies and internal equity. The role participates in short‑term and long‑term incentive programs, subject to plan terms, and includes a comprehensive benefits package, including retirement savings plans, health benefits and other benefits.
