Qualifications

• State License Compact licenses are allowed. Willing to obtain is allowed.
• Certifications ACLS (AHA). Willing to obtain allowed for ACLS (AHA).
• Certifications BLS (AHA). Willing to obtain allowed for BLS (AHA).
• Certifications NIHSS (AHA). Willing to obtain allowed for NIHSS (AHA).
• Specialty Experience 1+ years of experience in Medical ICU (MICU) in last 3 years.
• Travel Experience 6 weeks of travel experience.
• Skills Assessment MIC skills assessment with 2.7+ score.
• References 2 Charge RN references within the last 1 year.
• Additional Confirmations I have not worked as a traveler employee of this health system in the past 6 months.
• Additional Confirmations Cardiac and neuro experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations General surgery experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Trauma experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Proficiency in ACT, blood product administration, emergency medications, fibrinogen, INR, I&O monitoring, PT/PTT, IVs, urine output assessment, infection prevention, and isolation precautions is required.
• Additional Confirmations Proficiency in BiPAP/CPAP, ventilator management, HFNC, respiratory failure, suctioning (ETT, NT), and ABG interpretation is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with arterial, central, CVP, and PICC line management, high-output drains, and multisystem organ dysfunction/failure is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with CABG, CVA/stroke, epicardial pacing, ICP monitoring, pre/post hemodialysis, and pulmonary edema is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with IV paralytics/sedation, titrating cardiac/vasoactive drips, TPN/lipids, and dysrhythmia management is required.
• Travel Contract Local contracts within 50.0 miles not accepted.
• Requested Time Off Up to 4 days of time off can be requested.
