Location: Alexandria, MN Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Requirements:

• Technical degree in Machine Tool Technology or related field with machining experience, OR High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of machining experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, part drawings, and machining specifications
• Experience setting up tooling and creating/executing basic machine programs
• Proficiency using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and gauges
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain close tolerances and produce high-quality, accurate work
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and cross-train

Job Duties:

• Set up, operate, and program machine tools including mills, lathes, and drill presses
• Read and interpret blueprints and machine drawings to manufacture parts to specification
• Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments to verify tolerances and quality standards
• Perform secondary operations such as deburring and part stamping during machine cycles
• Send and receive machining programs through network systems
• Perform routine machine maintenance and equipment checks
• Maintain 5S standards and an organized work area
• Cross-train on multiple machines and machining processes as needed
• Support production goals by operating equipment efficiently and meeting deadlines
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
