Join a Nuclear Medicine department as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment with a variable shift schedule. Under the supervision of a Radiologist, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures on both ambulatory and hospitalized patients. This role requires expertise in radiopharmaceutical administration, imaging procedures, patient safety, and adherence to established clinical protocols while delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities include performing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating nuclear medicine imaging equipment, conducting patient assessments and education prior to procedures, monitoring patients during imaging studies, acquiring and processing diagnostic images, maintaining radiation safety standards, performing quality control testing on imaging equipment, documenting procedures accurately in the medical record, collaborating with radiologists and referring providers, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, maintaining patient confidentiality, and delivering safe, high-quality patient-centered care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
