Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; recognize and respond to dysrhythmias and critical events
- Administer medications and IV therapies per orders; monitor for adverse effects
- Establish and maintain peripheral IV access; perform phlebotomy as needed
- Conduct ongoing patient assessments; coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
- Participate in Rapid Response/Code Team activities and support patient safety initiatives
- Document care in Epic with accurate, timely charting and clear communication of changes in condition

Requirements
- Active New York RN license in hand to submit
- Minimum 1 year RN experience in Med Surg / Telemetry or similar setting
- BLS certification; NIHSS certification is listed among required certifications
- Epic charting experience required (or proven proficiency)
- Cardiac telemetry knowledge with rhythm interpretation; phlebotomy and IV placement competency
- Ability to work 3x12 night shifts and float within unit scope; not accepting local candidates within 75 miles of the facility
