Program Manager

Role Description The Program Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based in the Detroit Metropolitan Area. This role oversees customer programs from initiation through delivery, ensuring objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met across automotive and aerospace projects. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include coordinating cross‑functional teams in engineering, production, quality, and supply chain, monitoring project milestones, and resolving issues that impact schedule or cost. The Program Manager will manage customer communications, prepare status reports, and support quoting and change management for new and existing programs. This role also involves identifying process improvements, mitigating risks, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing campus. Qualifications Program and project management skills, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder coordination. Experience in automotive and/or aerospace manufacturing, with familiarity in areas such as prototyping, stamping and tooling, fixtures and gauges, robotic welding, or CNC machining. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical documentation, drawings, and specifications. Effective communication and relationship‑building skills for collaborating with cross‑functional teams and external customers. Proficiency with project management and productivity tools (e.g., MSProject, Excel, ERP/MRP systems) and data‑driven decision making. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously in a fast‑paced, production‑focused environment. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, operations management, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered. Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, SixSigma) and an understanding of quality systems and regulatory requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
