Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to determine patient mental health needs, strengths, and challenges.

• Coordinate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective care plans tailored to individual client requirements.

• Provide consultations to fellow team members, offering insights and recommendations based on your clinical expertise.

• Engage in individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based methodologies to facilitate healing and personal growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with clients experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and more. Your work will involve individuals, couples, and families, making it essential to establish trust and rapport quickly. Understanding and addressing the unique cultural and socio-economic backgrounds of clients will be key to your success in this position.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from an accredited program.

• Current and valid LMFT licensure in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of 3 years experience working in an outpatient mental health setting.
\n
• Proficiency in writing clear, comprehensive clinical notes and summaries to maintain accurate patient records.
\n
• Ability to develop strong therapeutic alliances and rapport with clients to facilitate meaningful sessions.

• Competence in performing thorough mental status exams and recognizing changes in clients’ mental health status.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in teletherapy and familiarity with virtual care platforms is highly preferred. Candidates with background knowledge in specific therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), will receive particular consideration. Additionally, experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural competency in therapy will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
