Work Environment

This position is based onsite within our home care services division, where you will have the opportunity to visit patients in their own environments. This unique setting allows for personalized interaction that closely aligns therapeutic practices with patients' daily lives, promoting a seamless path to recovery. You will work from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to balance professional responsibilities with personal time.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and reassessments of patients' physical conditions to establish a clear baseline for treatment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, tailored to the unique needs of each patient, focusing on their recovery goals.
• Deliver hands-on manual therapy techniques and guide patients through exercise progressions designed to restore function and mobility.
• Educate patients and their families on recovery processes, injury prevention, and at-home management strategies to facilitate better outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with referring doctors and other healthcare professionals to create a cohesive care strategy that optimizes each patient's rehabilitation experience.
• Foster a positive, collaborative clinic culture where continuous improvement, teamwork, and professional growth are encouraged.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, those addressing chronic pain, and individuals with musculoskeletal injuries. A commitment to patient-centric care will empower you to tailor your approach based on each client's personal goals and lifestyle, ensuring that rehabilitation aligns with their everyday activities and preferences.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A current or pending license to practice physical therapy in Nevada.
• Excellent clinical reasoning coupled with strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication with patients and colleagues.
• Capability to treat various orthopedic and musculoskeletal impairments effectively.
• A passion for learning, a strong motivation to grow, and a desire to actively contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Certification in Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) is preferred, or a strong interest in pursuing this certification.
• Proficiency in managing post-operative protocols, sports therapy, or manual therapy techniques.
• Previous experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems for efficient documentation and patient tracking.
