Expanding Balance Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist for a full-time position in our orthopedic outpatient rehabilitation center located in Sparks, Nevada. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities, mobility, and rehabilitation needs, ensuring each examination is comprehensive and results-driven.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, considering the specific health conditions and goals of each patient.
• Utilize a variety of therapy modalities, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and educational sessions, tailoring your approach to align with patient preferences and capabilities.
• Maintain accurate and updated patient records using Raintree software, ensuring compliance with local healthcare regulations and clinic policies.
• Engage in regular discussions with patients and their caregivers to explain treatment plans, provide injury prevention tips, and offer guidance throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Track patient progress systematically, modifying treatment strategies to enhance outcomes based on ongoing evaluations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient demographic at Expanding Balance primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our therapists work with various ages, from young athletes to active seniors, providing a diverse range of treatment requirements. We have a strong focus on empowering patients to take charge of their health and rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, with an active or eligible Physical Therapist license in Nevada.
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
• A commitment to continuing education and professional development; we encourage new graduates to bring fresh perspectives and ideas.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in using electronic health records, particularly Raintree, is a plus, though we offer training for the right candidate.
• Proficient understanding of modern physical therapy techniques, modalities, and patient-centered care approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

The Physical Therapist position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, based on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) plan with employer matching; and 2 to 3 weeks of paid time off annually, to support your work-life balance.
