Body Balance Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist. In this role, you will be a vital part of our team, guiding patients on their rehabilitation journey to restore mobility and enhance their quality of life. Your contributions will focus on patient care through prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation, ensuring that each individual achieves their maximum functional potential.

Work Environment

This position is fully onsite and requires the Physical Therapist to work closely with patients in their rehabilitation settings. You will be engaged with a team that includes two other Physical Therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), all committed to delivering high-quality care. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing a structured balance between work and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify their individual goals and therapeutic needs.
• Manage a patient caseload effectively, with the expectation of treating one patient per hour to ensure focused and quality care.
• Utilize your hands-on experience in orthopedic settings to provide targeted treatments that improve range of motion and mobility.
• Employ methods that enhance patient outcomes while reducing reliance on medications and avoiding unnecessary surgeries.
• Create comprehensive care plans that integrate a variety of treatment techniques tailored to each patient.
• Design specific fitness and wellness programs, addressing the unique requirements of your patients to foster independence.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions that contribute to quicker recovery periods and improved functioning.
• Actively motivate patients throughout their treatment journey to achieve and maintain optimal functionality.
• Engage patients in lifestyle modifications that enhance overall strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Monitor treatment outcomes meticulously, documenting progress and communicating effectively with patients and their families.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will primarily include orthopedic patients requiring rehabilitation due to injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions impacting their mobility. By providing patient-centered care, you will help individuals regain their strength and functionality, improving their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Nevada.
• A solid professional background without any history of disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proven experience in manual therapy techniques, with the competence to develop and implement effective exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is essential.

Preferred Experience

• At least 1 year of experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Experience in customizing treatment strategies based on diverse patient demographics and treatment goals.

Compensation and Benefits
