Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive orthopedic evaluations to assess patients' functional abilities and movement patterns, ensuring a thorough understanding of their condition.
• Create personalized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices, focusing on measurable goals tailored to individual patient needs.
• Implement various therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise regimens, neuromuscular re-education, and use of modalities to promote healing and recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about their treatment plans, emphasizing the importance of injury prevention and self-care techniques.
• Document treatment sessions and patient progress accurately in our user-friendly electronic medical records (EMR) system.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, ensuring that each patient receives the most effective and comprehensive treatment possible.
• Engage in continuous learning by staying informed on the latest clinical techniques and participating in professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Royal Heights Rehabilitation Center, you will work with a diverse patient population consisting of individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required; however, candidates with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's degree are preferred.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Nevada.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with the healthcare team.
• A genuine passion for orthopedic rehabilitation, manual therapy techniques, and active patient engagement.

Preferred Experience

• Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS) is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Two years of experience in a rehabilitative setting is preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply as mentorship opportunities are available.

Compensation and Benefits
