Work Environment

This full-time position is primarily onsite in our outpatient clinic, allowing for close interaction with patients and colleagues. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life environment. The focus of our facility is home care, providing personalized therapy to patients who benefit from treatment in a familiar and comfortable setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to develop individualized therapy plans that reflect the specific needs and goals of each patient.
• Implement effective therapy interventions including exercise prescriptions, manual therapy, and functional training to enhance patients' mobility.
• Maintain a reasonable caseload to ensure focused and attentive care, maximizing patient engagement and recovery.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to formulate treatment strategies, advocating for non-surgical interventions to enhance recovery while minimizing medication dependence.
• Continually monitor and evaluate patient progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and progress meticulously, leveraging EMR software such as Web PT for streamlined record-keeping.
• Promote patient education, motivating individuals to adopt healthier lifestyles that enhance strength, flexibility, and overall wellness.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care, discussing treatment outcomes and strategies with fellow healthcare professionals.
• Provide mentorship and education to junior staff and interns, sharing best practices and innovative approaches within the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Postural Therapeutic Outreach Clinic predominantly serves a diverse patient population including athletes, post-surgical patients, and individuals with chronic orthopedic conditions. You will work closely with clients across all age ranges, tailoring treatment plans to meet each person's unique needs. Qualifications

• A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is a requirement for this position.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Nevada is essential, with a clean record free from sanctions or board issues.
• Mastery of manual therapy techniques and a proven track record of developing successful exercise programs are necessary skills.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, will be critical for efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience specifically in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an attractive annual salary range of USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, commensurate with experience.
