Job Summary:
The healthcare professional specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing in Lubbock, Texas, is responsible for providing specialized patient care to critically ill adults. This role requires the ability to manage complex cases involving trauma, neurology, cardiac, and general surgical patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Texas license; minimum of 1 year experience in ICU nursing; certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); at least 3 years of nursing experience including trauma, neuro, and cardiac cases.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic medical records systems, particularly Epic; previous community hospital, trauma or neuro ICU experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The ICU unit manages adult patients in a Level II Trauma Center. The unit includes interdisciplinary support such as respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and social services. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment with patients requiring advanced monitoring and life support.
