Business Attorney

Overview We are seeking a highly talented, self-motivated, and dynamic Business Litigation Attorney to join our fast-paced legal team. This role requires a professional with a strong background in Probate Litigation and/or Commercial Litigation, with a minimum of 2 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for business law, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle complex legal matters with ease. Job Details This position is for a Business Attorney with responsibilities in probate and/or commercial litigation and a track record of managing complex business law matters. The salary range is $160,000 - $250,000 per year. This is a fast-paced role with the potential to make a significant impact within the organization. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance on a variety of business matters, including probate litigation and commercial litigation. Represent the organization in legal proceedings, draft legal documents, and manage negotiations. Manage all aspects of litigation, including interviewing witnesses, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and discovery, and handling court appearances. Develop and implement effective legal strategies to resolve disputes and mitigate potential legal risks. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure the legal needs of the business are met. Stay updated with changes in business law and advise the organization on any potential impact. Perform due diligence in legal matters concerning contracts, agreements, and mergers and acquisitions. Provide training to the company on legal topics and promote legal, compliance and risk management best practices throughout the organization. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Attorney, specifically in probate litigation and commercial litigation. Must be a member in good standing with the local State Bar. Proven track record of managing complex business law cases from start to finish. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to interpret and draft legal documents. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization. High level of professionalism and confidentiality. Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite. This is not just another job.
