We are partnering with the State of Rhode Island to find a detail-oriented Program Coordinator to support the College of Health Sciences clinics at the University of Rhode Island . The ideal candidate will possess exceptional administrative, organizational, and customer service skills, with experience coordinating daily operations, supporting clinical staff, managing scheduling, and maintaining confidential records.
Pay & Job Highlights:Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour
Location: Kingston, RI Responsibilities of the Program Coordinator:
- Coordinate daily clinic operations by managing client scheduling, intake, check-in/check-out processes, and shared clinic calendars.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, faculty, students, and community partners.
- Process client payments, monitor accounts receivable activity, assist with purchasing and procurement, and support clinic administrative functions.
- Maintain confidential records, ensure compliance with HIPAA and university policies, and support clinic directors with operational and administrative projects.
Qualifications of the Program Coordinator:
- Previous experience in administrative support, healthcare, clinical operations, program coordination, or a related office environment.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills with the ability to maintain confidential information and support multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated customer service experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR), accounts receivable, payment processing, or procurement is preferred.
