Senior Business Analyst with P&C Domain

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in the Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance domain. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business requirements are accurately captured and translated into effective technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
• Conduct gap analysis and identify areas for process improvement within underwriting, claims, and policy administration.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
• Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure solutions meet business expectations.
• Support testing efforts including test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations with business and IT teams.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk management standards.
• Provide training and support to end-users post-implementation.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 5 years in the P&C insurance domain.
• Strong understanding of insurance operations including underwriting, claims, and policy lifecycle.
• Experience with platforms like Guidewire, Duck Creek, or similar insurance systems.
• Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Office, and SQL.
• Solid understanding of Agile and SDLC methodologies.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
• Prior experience in hybrid work environments.
• Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile certifications are a plus.
