CRM Marketing Specialist

The CRM Operations Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the university’s CRM system (Slate by Technolutions) to support undergraduate student recruitment, admission communications, and enrollment operations. This role collaborates with other admission teams, IT, and academic departments to ensure accurate data management and a seamless prospective student experience throughout the enrollment lifecycle. Essential Functions (Responsibilities): Manage and maintain the admissions CRM platform, including workflows, automation, and user access. Support prospective student recruitment efforts by overseeing the Application Completion Checklist and Admitted Student Checklist Monitor and maintain data integrity within the CRM and student information systems while assisting with data imports and exports. Collaborate with admission teams to develop and monitor conversion strategies. Build and generate admissions reports, dashboards, and enrollment analytics. Configure application stages, forms, event registrations, and communication templates. Troubleshoot CRM-related issues and provide training and support to admission teams, staff, and faculty. Assist with integration projects between CRM, SIS, and third-party platforms. Support recruitment cycle preparation and system readiness, including updates, testing, and process improvements. Support recruitment events as needed. Performs related responsibilities as required or assigned. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of experience in professional higher education admission setting. 1-2 years of experience in CRM administration, admission operations, or enrollment management. 1-2 years of experience in higher education recruitment/admission. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and reporting tools. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field. 5 years of experience in Slate (Technolutions). Working competence in SQL, Java, or other programming languages. Desired Skills: Strong tendency to troubleshoot. Ability to dissect requests and produce projects with accuracy and strong attention to detail. Comprehensive knowledge of all modules of Slate CRM. Experience with integrating new enhanced features of Slate CRM. A collaborative team player, who can coordinate work effectively with employees, team members, and outside vendors. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. High attention to detail and accuracy. Demonstrated practice of establishing effective priorities and meeting deadlines. May require occasional evening or weekend work during peak recruitment periods or admissions events.
