Student Development Assistant

Duties And Responsibilities Provide supervision and instruction to students regarding homework and study assistance. Ensure safety and accountability. Maintain cleanliness of dorm. Assist students with independent living skills and conflict resolution skills. Assist with literacy programs and assist students with organization of leisure time. Interprets and apply school policies related to the student development program, including discipline. Maintain appropriate records and submit reports. Attend meetings. Complete and maintain student records and reports. Attend necessary student meetings. Perform other duties as assigned. This is a 2nd shift position. The hours are Sunday-Thursday 3:30pm– 11:30pm. Experience, training, or skills: One year of experience working with individuals in a student development or education program. Substitute education for experience: NONE Substitute experience for education: NONE Special requirements (age, licensure, regulation, etc.): NONE Working Conditions Work is typically performed in an instructional and counseling setting.
