Your future role at a glance Location: Racine, WI Facility: Ascension All Saints Department/Specialty: Infection Prevention Schedule: Days | Full-time How you'll make an impact in this role Lead the design and execution of infection control strategies to create the safest possible environment for our patients and clinical teams. Investigate and trace potential health risks with a detective’s mindset, identifying root causes to proactively prevent future outbreaks. Translate complex regulatory standards and clinical guidelines into actionable, everyday practices that keep our facility at the forefront of safety excellence. Empower our healthcare staff by creating and delivering engaging educational tools that turn infection prevention theory into life‑saving bedside habits. Champion clinical innovation by evaluating new medical equipment and care delivery methods to ensure every modern advancement meets our rigorous safety benchmarks. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Certification specializing in Infection Control credentialed from the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. (CBIC) preferred. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing preferred. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi‑state/Compact State. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’s degree/Bachelor’s degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
