About the Position

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Outpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:00 on two days, 07:00 - 18:00 on two days, Monday to Friday) Experience: Minimum of 1 year outpatient experience required License: Wisconsin Physical Therapist License preferred; pending license accepted Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Outpatient orthopedic experience; one-on-one patient sessions with no overlapping patients Description: Start with a flexible work schedule consisting of four 10-hour days. The role involves conducting 60-minute one-on-one therapy sessions. Treatment will focus on orthopedic outpatient cases. The facility offers a supportive gym space for rehabilitation activities. The patient demographic includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The daily census ranges from 8 to 9 patients. Therapists will be responsible for assessments, treatment planning, and patient education. Candidates must have experience with various orthopedic conditions, including joint injuries and post-operative care. The position entails managing a diverse caseload and maintaining patient safety during treatment. Eligibility for first-time travelers is available. A clear understanding of charting systems, preferably Epic, is beneficial. Candidates should possess strong communication and time management skills. The role requires the ability to work effectively within a team and manage patient care efficiently.
