Kelly Services is partnering with a leading manufacturing company who is looking for a Quality Control Inspector in Franklin, MA.

Shift: 7 3:30pm

Pay: $22

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector for our 1st shift manufacturing operations. As a key member of our quality team, you will ensure our products meet rigorous customer and industry standards, reporting results and working closely with Engineers and the Quality Manager.

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections at various manufacturing stages, using mechanical and electronic measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, gauge blocks, optical comparators, etc.; training on automated systems such as Micro-View will be provided)
• Accept or reject products based on inspection findings
• Accurately complete in-process and final inspection reports
• Adhere to and support compliance with Quality Management Systems including ISO 13485:2016, ISO 9001:2015, and defined procedures/work instructions
• Compile and evaluate statistical data to maintain product quality and reliability
• Practice and maintain Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
• Report inspection results and communicate quality issues clearly to the Quality Manager and Engineering team
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions as needed
• Work independently following initial training, with strict attention to safety and detail

Qualifications:

• 23 years of relevant experience preferred
• Ability to understand blueprints, technical drawings, AQL levels, and written work instructions
• Proficiency with standard mechanical measurement equipment and visual inspection tools (microscopes, magnifiers, etc.)
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a manufacturing environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skill
