Description - What You Will Experience

• Conduct a variety of routine and advanced laboratory tests including chemistry, hematology, and immunology following established guidelines.
• Evaluate test results for validity, resolve discrepancies, and ensure lab instruments are well-maintained through scheduled calibrations and repairs.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for thorough testing as required.
• Document lab procedures thoroughly, mentor new staff or students, and uphold the highest quality standards throughout the laboratory.
• Promote a safe and sterile work environment, while adhering to all regulatory standards and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent health-related field with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification status throughout your tenure with us.
