• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for further analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new team members or students, and actively contribute to the maintenance of laboratory quality assurance.
• Ensure a tidy and secure work environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health qualification accompanied by ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) achieved within the first year of employment.
• Ongoing retention of certification as a part of employment requirements.
