About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Community Impact to join its executive leadership team. The successful candidate will be a key partner in advancing the organization's community engagement, sustainability, accessibility, and stakeholder relations initiatives. This role is pivotal in ensuring that tourism growth is responsible, equitable, and aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The Vice President will drive strategic programs that enhance visitor experiences, support inclusive economic development, and strengthen community relationships. They will also serve as the primary liaison with city and county government agencies, tourism industry partners, and various external organizations, and will be responsible for leading efforts in sustainability, particularly in the areas of accessibility, workforce development, and resident perceptions of the tourism sector. Applicants for the Vice President, Community Impact position at the company should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree. The role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to work in a changing environment. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert on the UN SDGs, with the ability to develop and deliver educational programming on this topic. Experience in community engagement, sustainability, and stakeholder relations is essential. The role demands a dependable, highly motivated team player with a great attitude, who can effectively multitask and meet multiple deadlines. The Vice President will also be expected to have a current, valid driver's license and be willing to undergo a comprehensive background check.
