Assistant Sign Fabricator

We are seeking a creative, motivated, and hands-on individual to join our production team as an Assistant Sign Fabricator. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone interested in developing a long-term career in sign manufacturing, fabrication, and custom production.
In this role, you will work alongside experienced fabricators and designers to help create custom signage from concept to completion. Every day brings new projects and opportunities to learn valuable skills including CNC routing, vinyl application, material fabrication, and basic metalworking.Responsibilities
- Cut, prepare, and assemble sign materials including plastic, aluminum, composite panels, and other substrates.
- Apply vinyl graphics and lettering to sign stock and completed sign products.
- Assist with CNC router setup, operation, and material processing.
- Fabricate and assemble custom sign structures, frames, and components.
- Build and install basic mounting hardware and assist with light metal fabrication and welding projects.
- Follow production drawings, layouts, and specifications provided by the design and production teams.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with various shop and production tasks as needed.
- Interest in fabrication, manufacturing, construction, woodworking, or related hands-on trades.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new tools, equipment, and production techniques.
- Ability to read a tape measure and follow instructions accurately.
- Basic experience with hand tools, power tools, woodworking, metalworking, or CNC equipment is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to lift materials and perform physical tasks in a production environment.
