LHH is partnered with a growing professional services firm is adding a Senior Accountant to support continued expansion and improve day-to-day accounting operations. This is a hands‑on role with ownership across core accounting functions, along with the opportunity to drive process improvements following a recent system implementation. Title : Senior Accountant Location : On‑site in Salem, OR Compensation : Base pay: $34-48/hour Performance based bonuses Annual retirement contribution Medical coverage with strong employer contribution Additional perks: wellness memberships, insurance coverage, and more What You’ll Own Full cycle accounting (journal entries, GL maintenance) Accounts Payable + Accounts Receivable ownership Monthly & annual financial statements (B/S & P&L) Account reconciliations (bank, credit card, general ledger) Excel‑based reporting, dashboards, and billing analysis Budget vs. actuals support Process improvement initiatives to support company growth What They’re Looking For 4+ years of accounting experience (degree preferred but not required) Strong understanding of day‑to‑day accounting operations Ability to own processes and operate independently Intermediate to advanced Excel skills Organized, detail‑oriented, and process‑improvement mindset Strong communication across internal stakeholders If you're looking for a stable accounting role with visibility, balance, and long‑term growth , this is worth a conversation.
