Business Development Executive

Description LedgerLogix is a CFO advisory and outsourced accounting firm helping growing, privately held businesses build stronger financial operations. We've grown to a team of 45+ professionals serving 100+ clients nationwide — and we're now expanding into new markets: Cincinnati, Dayton, and Northern Kentucky. We're hiring a Business Development Executive to lead that growth, wherever your existing network is strongest. This is a relationship-driven role, not a cold-outreach sales job. You'll bring an existing network of business owners and referral partners — CPAs, bankers, attorneys, financial advisors — and grow it into a pipeline of clients who need more than a bookkeeper: a real financial partner who changes how they run their business. What you'll do: Build a qualified pipeline through targeted outreach, not general networking Lead discovery conversations that position LedgerLogix as a strategic financial partner Develop and maintain relationships with CPAs, attorneys, bankers, and other referral partners Represent LedgerLogix in your local business community What you'll bring: A background as a financial advisor, commercial banker, consultant, or entrepreneur A track record of originating your own leads and clients — not managing accounts handed to you Real, active relationships with business owners and referral partners in your market Comfort with a longer, consultative sales cycle Compensation: On-target earnings (OTE) of $120,000+ per year (base salary plus performance-based incentives) You’ll be joining at a pivotal moment — helping lead our expansion into three new markets, with the backing of an established team and 100+ clients who already trust us to get their numbers right. Requirements Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles. Proven track record of success in sales and achieving revenue targets. Strong understanding of financial services industry and solutions. Excellent negotiation and closing skills. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to travel as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
