Overview Human Resources Manager — Full-Time | Onsite | Reports to CFO Vaco Staffing is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources administration for a Direct Hire role with a community-focused financial institution with three locations in South Georgia and Northeast Florida. This position serves as the primary HR contact for the organization and is responsible for ensuring effective practices in payroll, compliance, employee relations, and onboarding. This is a full-time, onsite role based in Jacksonville, Florida. Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Responsibilities Manage recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and training for new employees. Maintain personnel records and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations. Serve as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and employment matters. Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including open enrollment and vendor communications. Provide reporting and analysis to management; recommend improvements to HR processes and procedures. Assist Accounting with administering and processing payroll, including oversight of the ProLiant HRIS system and manual payroll processes as needed. Partner with bank leadership to ensure consistent implementation of HR practices across all locations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (HR certification preferred). 5-7 years of progressive human resources experience , preferably in banking or financial services. Strong knowledge of Human Resource compliance, and employment law in both Georgia and Florida. Proficiency with ProLiant HRIS or similar HRIS systems. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently in a stand-alone HR role while supporting a team-oriented culture. Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
