Fleet Manager

To support a growing medical device services company, the full-time hybrid Fleet Manager will oversee the acquisition, maintenance, and disposal of the vehicle fleet while ensuring compliance with safety standards and optimizing operational efficiency. Key responsibilities Manage vehicle acquisition, allocation, and disposal processes, ensuring adherence to regulations and cost-effectiveness Develop and implement driver training and safety compliance programs, including monitoring driver licensing and adherence to vehicle use policies Oversee fleet maintenance schedules and vendor management, negotiating contracts and tracking service levels for optimal performance Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered 3-5+ years of experience in Fleet Management or a related Operations role, preferably in a multi-site or PE-backed organization Working knowledge of fleet management platforms and fuel card programs Familiarity with motor vehicle record (MVR) requirements and driver safety compliance standards Experience in negotiating vendor and repair contracts to drive cost savings and improved service
