Regional Sales Representative

Job Description
Myrick Recruiting is partnering with a client in the industrial distribution industry. Our client is the regions largest independent battery distributor. We are looking to hire a Regional Sales Rep in the Baltimore, MD area. This is a newly created role working with existing and new clients in the region. Must be motivated to develop new accounts and further develop the region.
\n \nWe are looking for an enterprising, self-starting individual to join the company as an Outside Sales Representative. As part of our team, you recognize and cultivate potential sales leads, travel to meet with prospective clients, and endeavor to transform one-off sales into lasting beneficial relationships. You work under a Regional Sales Director within your territory, building relationships with existing and potential customers. You will use your skills in deal closing, direct sales, B2B sales, and niche marketing to demonstrate to leads just our products can benefit their bottom line.
\n \nThis is a hybrid role, both remote and in the field.
\n \nResponsibilities:
\n- \n
- Developing and maintaining successful customer relationships \n
- Providing strategic recommendations, pricing, and solutions with products and services to meet customer needs. \n
- Working with engineering and technical staff to clarify customer needs and develop specifications. \n
- Researching local markets to identify sales opportunities and threats. \n
- Identifying and developing key decisionmakers within customer base \n
- Demonstrating the value of distribution to our customer base \n
- Recording account, contact, and sales activities in the CRM \n
Experience:
\n- \n
- Minimum of 3 years sales experience \n
- Previous experience in the industrial, construction, equipment rental, manufacturing sectors ideal \n
- Excellent communication skills with a strength in customer presentations \n
- Ability to work independently and within a team. \n
- Strong work ethic and desire to meet customer needs. \n
