Data Scientist

Salary: $83,000 - 132,800 per year Requirements:

• A bachelors degree in data science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, or another related discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience
• At least three years of experience in data analysis and/or analytical programming
• Strong command of SQL and at least one programming language, such as Python or R
• Working knowledge of statistical methods, including A/B testing, significance testing, and sampling techniques
• Experience with predictive modeling and machine learning approaches, including generalized linear models, clustering, decision trees, dimensionality reduction, and natural language processing
• Proficiency in feature engineering and exploratory data analysis
• Familiarity with optimization methods and artificial intelligence concepts
• Ability to interpret large datasets and spot patterns, anomalies, and gaps
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access
• Strong critical thinking, verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform is preferred
• Experience with modern data stack tools such as Databricks or Snowflake is preferred
• Healthcare experience is preferred
• Beginner-level familiarity with building reports or dashboards in Power BI or similar business intelligence tools is preferred

• We create, maintain, and communicate analytical plans for each project
• We mine and analyze large structured and unstructured datasets
• We use a variety of data sources to build algorithms that predict risk, explain drivers, and detect outliers
• We develop visualizations that show how well our algorithms perform
• We provide statistical validation and outcome analysis for clinical programs and interventions
• We collaborate with other teams to integrate solutions with existing systems
• We communicate findings and ideas to key stakeholders
• We prepare code for operationalizing end-to-end model pipelines and business deliverables
• We perform additional duties as assigned
