Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ substance abuse histories and mental health conditions, ensuring a holistic understanding of their needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to address both addiction issues and underlying mental health challenges, utilizing a client-centered approach.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches that promote recovery and foster supportive peer interactions.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including physicians, psychologists, and peer support specialists, to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for clients.

• Provide education and support to clients’ families, helping them understand addiction and actively engage in the recovery process.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment interventions, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will work primarily with individuals facing substance use disorders, many of whom may also be dealing with co-occurring mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, or PTSD. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, necessitating a culturally sensitive and individualized approach. As a result, your ability to connect and build rapport will be crucial for their recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A valid mental health license, either as LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor), or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker).

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Specialized training or extensive experience in addiction counseling, with a solid understanding of the complexities of substance use disorders.

• Knowledge of evidence-based practices to treat substance abuse and co-occurring disorders, including but not limited to CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing.

• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping clients overcome their challenges.

• Prior experience working in a substance abuse treatment center or similar environment is highly desirable.

• Proven ability to develop and maintain therapeutic relationships and to motivate clients through their challenges.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, based on your experience and credentials.
