Pay as Cross Country posts it: about $2,469 a week in all, a taxable rate of $26.01 an hour plus $1,533 a week in housing and meal stipends.

Job Summary

The organization is seeking an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Float registered nurse in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing critical care to patients in various ICU environments, including neuro/trauma Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU), Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), Cardiovascular Progressive Specialty (CPS)/Vascular Intensive Care Unit (VICU), Cardiac Care Unit (CCU), and other critical care settings. Previous travel experience, Epic (Electronic Medical Record) experience, and comfort in floating between different ICU units are essential.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Valid RN license, Epic experience REQUIRED, previous travel experience, and competent in ICU patient care. Experience caring for ICU patients in neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, progressive critical care unit (PCCU), and ICU/PACU on awaiting bed placement necessary. No minimum years of experience specified. Must have or be eligible for valid licensure.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Must be comfortable floating to a variety of ICU units including neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, PCCU, and ICU/PACU. Competency test required within 24 hours of submission, sent via email. Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced, critical care environment and demonstrate proficiency in caring for critically ill patients across multiple ICU settings.
