Work Environment\n

This position is offered in a remote setting , allowing for flexibility in your work environment. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some variation based on patient appointments and needs. While your main interactions will be virtual, you will also occasionally engage with colleagues and patients in our outpatient office environment.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand each patient's unique situation and needs.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.

• Facilitate support and psychoeducational groups, providing participants with valuable resources and a sense of community.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive treatment approach for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services to patients experiencing acute mental health episodes, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, potential treatment options, and effective coping strategies to promote their independence.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.

• Engage in case consultations and participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Top Acres, you will serve a diverse client population experiencing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and substance use issues. Our team is committed to understanding the unique backgrounds and needs of each patient, ensuring that we provide culturally competent care that promotes healing and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• Solid understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Proficient in conducting comprehensive assessments and formulating effective treatment strategies.

• Experience working with individuals and groups across various demographics.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong therapeutic relationships.

• Sound ethical judgment and professionalism in all client interactions.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technology to maintain patient documentation effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
