Qualifications & Experience Needed:

• Current Physical Therapist (PT) license in Connecticut (CT)
• Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse K-12 caseload
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
• Reliable organization and documentation habits

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized physical therapy to students in accordance with IEP/504 plans
• Evaluate students’ motor skills, mobility, and functional abilities across age groups
• Develop, implement, and update therapy interventions to help students access their education
• Consult with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings
• Educate staff and families on strategies to support student progress in classroom and school-related activities
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation as required by the district
