Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for adult med-surg patients, including monitoring and ongoing assessment
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders; document promptly and accurately
- Perform patient rounds, respond to changes in condition, and escalate concerns to the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and ancillary staff to develop and implement care plans
- Document care in the electronic medical record (Epic) and uphold patient safety, infection control, and privacy standards
- Support discharge planning and patient/family education to promote safe transitions

Requirements
- Active Oregon RN license
- BLS and ACLS (AHA) required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Acute Care/Med-Surg experience
- Experience with geriatric patient population; ortho experience strongly preferred
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Travel experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Med-Surg unit and comply with credentialing timelines (all compliance to be completed two weeks prior to start)
