Medical Billing Manager | New York, NY | Fully Onsite M-F 9am-5pm (35 hrs - 1 WFH day upon conversion) | Temp-to-Perm: $75k This is an urgent backfill at a non-profit providing behavioral, mental health, and educational services to children and families in New York. The Medical Billing Manager will oversee billing operations, supervise one direct report, and report directly to the CFO. What You'll Do Oversee all medical billing operations Supervise one Billing Assistant Manage Medicaid billing and compliance Process and review claims using CPT codes, ICD-10, and HCFA 1500 Ideal Candidate 5+ years of medical billing experience with CPT, ICD-10, and HCFA 1500 Strong Medicaid knowledge – required Some supervisory or managerial experience Able to work fully onsite Benefits Ascendo Benefits Interview Process Round 1: Virtual interview with HR and Hiring Manager Round 2: In-person interview with CFO Environment This role sits within a small but mission‑driven accounting team of 3 at a well‑established non‑profit.
