Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project objectives. Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project scope and requirements. Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information and pricing data. Develop and manage preconstruction schedules, budgets, and timelines. Provide value engineering recommendations to optimize project cost and efficiency. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and construction methods. Assist in negotiating contracts and managing procurement processes. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and project success.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Precon Manager should have: Experience with construction cost estimating and preconstruction management. Familiarity with analyzing project plans and specifications. Strong skills in budgeting, scheduling, and value engineering. Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and external partners. Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry best practices. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
