Parts and Service Specialist

The Parts and Service Specialist role will be responsible for supporting the service technician in the field. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the sourcing, quoting, and ordering parts necessary for the customer in support of the service technician field calls.
- If necessary, create part numbers for new parts in the ERP system. Review all part numbers created by the branches to reduce duplicate parts numbers. .
- Notify service techs when parts arrive, ship them to assigned locations.
- Schedule service technician's customer visits to maximize number of visits per pay. This includes scheduled PM's, installations, and ad hoc customer requested repairs.
- Maintain service calendar, customer machine schematics, and run service reports in coordination with the Service Manager.
- Enter service reports and invoice customers for parts purchased and service performed.
- Handle parts returns, vendor RMAs, and warranty claims on parts and machines.
- Monitor and process parts invoices as needed.
- Provide back up support to the branch managers for PO approval process in their absence.
- Other tasks as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field desired.
- Five years of related experience preferred.
- Knowledge of machine parts and machine repair services.
- Experienced in Lean Six Sigma.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill
- Ability to solve problems using a structured approach
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite and TEAMS/Sharepoint
- Warehouse environment, not climate controlled.
- Office environment, climate controlled
- Noise level in this work environment is usually moderate
