Maine Department of Transportation Salary : $101,649.60 - $144,081.60 per year ( Salary Schedule ) Office/Bureau : Maintenance & Operations (Region 5 - Northern Maine) Location : Presque Isle, ME Opening Date : August 14, 2026 Closing Date: August 28, 2026 Job Description: This is the Region Manager position for the Northern Maine Region. The Region Manager leads the Maintenance and Operations functions of Fleet, Bridge, Traffic, and Highway in the region; coordinates maintenance work with capital projects; responsible for budget and personnel; serves as lead representative with municipal leaders and the public; involved with transportation planning; implements department policies and initiatives in support of agency goals and objectives; ensures the management and direction of daily administration of region activities. The position requires progressive experience in managing programs and leading people.
