Desktop Support

Our client is seeking a Desktop Support professional to join their dedicated team. As a Desktop Support specialist, you will be part of the IT Support Department supporting a large network of users across the state. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization. **Job Title: Desktop Support** **Location: Madison, WI - Remote (WI resident only)** **Duration: 12+ months with highly possible extension** **Pay Range: $31 - $34 / hr. on W2** **What's the Job?** + Support, test, maintain, and install workstation hardware and software components + Manage and support Operating Systems for user workstations + Assist with peripheral device maintenance such as printers and scanners + Handle incident and service request management efficiently + Collaborate with team members and support projects related to hardware and software deployment **What's Needed?** + At least 5 years of experience in Tier 3 support and maintenance of workstation software and hardware + Proficiency in supporting and maintaining Operating Systems for user workstations + Experience supporting peripheral devices like printers and scanners (2-5 years preferred) + Strong background in incident and service request management + Excellent written and oral communication skills for customer support If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
