About the Opportunity
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Psychologist to join a growing multidisciplinary pediatric practice dedicated to providing high-quality, family-centered care. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced team of therapists and behavioral health professionals to provide comprehensive psychological and developmental evaluations for children and adolescents.

This hybrid role combines onsite evaluations with the flexibility of remote report writing, making it an excellent opportunity for clinicians seeking a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and developmental evaluations for children and adolescents.
• Administer, score, and interpret standardized psychological and developmental assessments.
• Perform autism spectrum disorder (ASD) diagnostic evaluations and other developmental assessments.
• Prepare detailed, timely, and clinically sound evaluation reports with individualized recommendations.
• Communicate evaluation results and recommendations to families in a clear and supportive manner.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, behavioral therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and treatment planning.
• Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives.
  

Preferred Assessment Experience

Experience with one or more of the following assessment tools is highly preferred:

• ADOS-2
• CARS-2
• BASC-3
• Vineland-3
• DP-4
• Tele-ASD-Peds
  

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active Illinois Psychologist License.
• Experience conducting psychological and developmental evaluations for pediatric patients.
• Experience with or strong interest in autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, pediatric psychology, or neuropsychology.
• Excellent diagnostic reasoning, clinical interviewing, and report-writing skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
