Shape young minds and provide crucial support to students by serving as a full-time, bilingual School Psychologist for a K-5th caseload near vibrant Chicago, IL. Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Current State of Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
• Must be fluent in both English and Spanish
• Previous experience working with elementary students (K-5) preferred
• Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multicultural educational environment

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments for students in grades K-5
• Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and provide recommendations based on data-driven insights
• Deliver counseling, behavioral intervention, and crisis support as needed
• Serve as a key consultant to teachers, administrators, and families, ensuring students’ emotional, academic, and social needs are met
• Facilitate communication between school staff and Spanish-speaking families, helping to foster an inclusive school community
• Promote positive and culturally responsive interventions for diverse student populations
• Keep thorough and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
